Regarding special marriage act

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am an Hindu boy and I am in love with Christian girl. Our families have agreed for marriage. My question here is, Can I marriage without converting. If I convert can I convert myself back to hinduism. What will be the caste of my children. After conversion do i need to change all my Ids like voter id card, pan card etc or can i represent myself as hindu in the future. How is our marriage registered. Can it be registered under special marriage act or it has to be registered under Christian marriage law.

Please help me with this regard. I cant think of forgetting the girl as also i cant hurt my parents.

Eagerly awaiting your helpful suggestions and responses.

u both can go for registration of your marriage under special marriage Act, which will allow both of you to keep your rreligious identities with you, even after marriage.  In respect of children, if the children will be brought up as per your religion, they can obtain your religion or if they will be brought up as per the rites and customs of her religion, they acquire their religion.  Religion is convertible in India and if the children want to change their religion, they can cange it after attaining 18 years age.

Agree with Chandrashekharji, You can remain a Hindu and marry a christian girl under special marriage Act. Grow your children as Hindu because it will help them in future during succession of property.
