Since our society office wrote below letter to the Local SHO.

To The SHO,
Subject : Foreign Guests This is to bring to your notice that foreigners are frequenting visiting Flat one of the flats at our Apartments for some time now. The Flat owner Mr XYZ, when contacted by the Society Managing Committee office bearers, said that these foreigners were coming under a Cultural exchange Programme and that there is no commercial transaction. More information : www.couchsurfing.com The Committee has requested Mr XYZ to provide passport details and other particulars of foreigners whenever they come to stay at his flat. If the MC is required to take any further steps, kindly let us know. We would like to inform you that Mr XYZ feels that Delhi Police need not be informed of such arrivals as these foreigners have been cleared by immigration department.

With above letter written : I Wrote to Society office. Yesterday (13th April) Afternoon two cops visited our premises and told that they have received a complaint from the society regarding the subject mentioned in above mail. As per my research Foreign Guest staying at Home as friends/Guest where no monetary compensation is involved are not required to register with https://boi.gov.in or the individual owner or society Kindly read below article.

However any changes due to current situation in country i would like to cooperate with society and police. I am also busy with my personal life.
NOW WE NEED SOME ADVICE WETHER WE CAN GET GUEST AT OUR HOME WITH NO MONETORY COMPENSATION INVOLVED. WE HAVE REALLY PROMTED OUR COUNTRY AND GETTING GO REFERANCE FOR GUEST. The police lied when then come to our home that society has complained in fact it was an application to let police know how we dealing with these foreign guest at our premises. Secondly we were threaten by police officer that they can book me under certain section since they were not informed and there is a notification from LG office regarding certain rules and regulations for foreign guest staying at individual homes. Please help and guide we are making our country proud.We are promoting tourism.
