Regularisation of "first director"

the promoters whose name is entered in the Article of Association as first director becomes first director of the company at the very moment when company comes into existence and got it CIN no from ROC but they can resign at any time and other person can take their position as additional director (if article of association contains) if appointed in a board meeting till the due date of ensuing Annual General Meeting.

Yes that I know..tell me whether they are required to be regularised in agm
