I have a property in Mumbai Western Suburb, which is in Joint name with my wife ( my name is first and her name is second). We have filed a divorce case in family court with mutual consent. The mutual concent terms states that she is ready to release her share of the said property to me
Pls advise me the procedure for getting her share of property transferred in my name.
Do I need to make a release deed or relinquishing deed?
Do I need to register this deed ?
Do i need to pay any Stamp Duty?
What documents are required?
What procedure needed in Society Office for transfer? which all documents to be provided and what application to be made?
Do we need to be physically present in the Registrar office in case the release deed / Relinquish deed to be registered?
