Sir, I am a Railway employs & drawing salary(35000/-pm) from Allahabad bank, also taken personal loan is 6L out of which 302500/- including Regd fee( i.e. is 10% of 275000), my question is whether I claim for the amount invested (i.e. 302500/-) this FY(2014-2015)in taking plot for building house ( in future), if yes detail please. I am lady employ.

Stamp duty is a part of cost of flat. It is neither revenue income nor expenditure to you. so NO EXEMPION IN 80C FOR STAMP DUTY IN INCOME TAX

Learned Ramacharya sir,
I want to know the amount i.e. 275000/- (which is out of from a personal loan i.e. 6L taken from Allahabad bank & would be deductable from my regular salary for next 60month). Whether this amount (275000/-Rs) can be claimed for tax relief or not because this amount is also coming from my salary (being managed in next 60 months). thankyou
