Relinquishment deed

Is it possible for the sister to sign property RELINQUISHMENT DEED at home instead of signing in front of magistrate in Delhi as she is unable to travel long inter state distance by road due to old age and health issues. Thanks for your advice.

Relinquishment deed is signed in front of Registration department. What is role of Magistrate? Thank you.

Registratiion of relinquishment deed is compulsory so parties and witnesses have to sign the document before Sub Registrar..

The relinquishment deed should be executed by a registered document only otherwise it is invalid.

If the sister is unable to come outside, the Sub Registrar concerned will attend to her home through private attendance. For this, she has to submit an application through a person with the necessary government fees for such attendance and provide a vehicle for the Sub Registrar to attend her house.
