Hi
Bar Council has come with notification that lawyers should renew their license by paying Rs.600 after every five years ..... Is it really effective?? WHere can i get the performa for renewal of license?? Its not avaliable on BAr Council website nor on state bar council website

ya okay BCI had come out with such notiifcation on 1st June 2012 that lawyers should renew their license but on the same day evening it was revoke or kept in abeyance when objections started shooting up from various state bar council's esp. Tamil Nadu n Pondicherry...
Hence Bar Council immediately kept its decision in abeyance until further orders.
You can check it on internet ... you will find such news by TImes of India and other newspapers
I too got to know about this via internet.
