You have not clearly mentioned how a woman inherited the properties of her grandfather crossing the chain of her father and other legal heirs of her grand-father?
I presume that either a will or a gift would have been got registered in the name of granddaughter by her grandfather during his life time about his self acquired properties and now after her death that property shall be inherited by her legal heirs and not of her grandfather.
