You may consult and engage a local prudent lawyer for appreciation of allegations leveled in FIR and move application for grant of bail, if the accused is already arrested.

FIR - atrocity act , money lending
scenario - plaintiff has taken loan against collateral from person A (individual). he didn't repaid the loan and now he filed case against Mr B & C (sons of Mr A) stating that they are threatening him to repay the interest and and insulted his caste. He arranged 2/3 fake witnesses (1 of them recently came out from jail after 2-3 years). he also published names in local news papers.
Mr. B & C doesn't even know the victim neither about the transactions. Now police is harassing family members by coming @3 or 2 in the midnight to arrest and due to fear, son left the home as he heared that in such cases, we won't get justice.

As an FIR has been lodged, it is the duty of the police to investigate. The only option for the accused is to try to secure anticipatory bail.
