Second marriage before divorce.

One of my friend married in 2008 and it was not a successful marriage as the girl always stayed in her mother's house and taken care her parents and only brother by using her income. For which she wanted to stay there and ask my friend to visit her parents house in the weekend's. Then she got a girl baby in 2010. Later in 2012 my friend is moved to Mumbai and asked her to come to Mumbai to live. She SId many excuses that includes her brother marriage. She didn't invited him to her brother marriage or ear boring ceremony which commonly held in south India. Later in 2013, this guy attracted by another girl and got silently married her and living in Mumbai. In 2014, when he moved to bangalore, he himself informed her about his new life and asked her to give divorce. But she visited bangalore along with her elder child and asked him to take her to his place. Since he refused she wanted to stay in hotel along with him. That day they had intercourse and she left to chennai. Later in 2015, this lady filed a case in police station by collecting all the evidences by stealing from his gmail. In front of police they both comparmised saying that divorce will be mutual if he pays certain amount as alimony. But later she is still went to court and filed mc case. Ease let me know what kind of action is expected from court? Though it was a mistake my friend made but how to come over from this now?.

One more case . Divorce can be granted by only Court nobody else

1) Your friend (Male) have done bigamy (legal status)

2) To put things straight only option legally is to take divorce with first wife in court.

3) This court proceeding can turn up messy and bigammy also a crime , in that case it depends upon maturity of handing the matter with person involved. If any person only sticks to book of law with support of any Advocate can create havoc in Your friends life (Male)

This person has committed offence.

He is now at the mercy of his legally wedded wife and police and courts of law.

he may engage a very able counsel and elders of the family.

I fully agree with my learned friends, that you need to seek legal advice immediately otherwise things can become very messy.
