This incident will hopefully nudge the men in khaki into wakefulness but early on Friday, the personnel at a police chowkie at Khar Danda was allegedly so deep in slumber that they did not have any inkling about a theft being committed next door.
Though the chowkie is situated just next to Ambika Jewellers at Khar Danda, a thief managed to break into the shop and make away with gold ornaments worth Rs 25 lakh right under the nose of policemen.

You will also find many big netas sleeping in on stage in front of gathering of thousands and even their pictures in while in slumber are published in news papers and flasshed on tv news. But nothing stops them from from doing so again and again.
