As per law, is it allowed for Police employee to become chairman/secretary in residential society?

If a society is established with a non-profitable and non-political etc, then a Govt. employee may be elected as an executive member.

Is IT Residential Society for personnel of the dept?

GO thru service rules applicable to the said state police employee/official’s designation………………and provisions if any to become Chairman/Secretary ……………..or Ex. Member….in said Residential Society.

Is it a co-operative society or any other form of society. If it is society for the services of individual residences you can be an office bearer even if you are a police man..
