After my father's death, I requested society chairman to re-issue share certificate on my name. Chairman is denying to issue share certificate. Chairman has some personal issue with us, So he is not issuing it. After that, I registered a complaint in society registration office. I submitted my old certificate to society, So I was only having copy. Since I don't have copy, Society registration office asked me to give advertise in newspaper. I gave advertise in newspaper. In next general meeting, I again raise a request to issue share certificate, But Chairman told that he will do it later. Currently, he left for Canada and returning after 1 month. What steps should I take against him?
First complain to reissue share certificate: before 1 year.
Register complain in society registration office: before 4 month
Society general meeting: before 1 month
Property paperwork is already completed.
Every time Chairman deny with a different reason, related one might be,
- Chairman is telling, at the time of buying property, old chairman issued share certificate without a general meeting so that is an invalid certificate.
