Respected Sir,
I am not sure if this is a usual or unusual quire, but i do hope get your suggestions and professional guidance to understand my right as a citizen.
It is to my notice a dispute, which includes a SRA Flat within a Family, ( My deceased Friends Child ).
A certain SRA Flat in Mahim (Tadeshwar Bhavan) which was a slum and later developed as a SRA benefit for the dwelers (My deceased Friend being one) has been leased by the in laws from the past 4 years.
Now the problem is,
1 - We do not know what are the legal steps to take
2 - The actual ownership of the flat is in the In Laws name but the slum house was purchased by my late friend
3 - The In law is a Railways employee
4 - We have approached the local police to evacuate the flat, but they shoved us away stating "Civil Matter"
Please advice, if the flat is on rent, what steps can be taken, and who is the contact point.
