Stamp duty on purchase of used motor car

according to me u need not pay any stamp duty on purchase of car. You have to submit the necessary transfer forms duly signed by the transferor, pollution check, Insurance copy. along with fee to RTA for transfer. After the vehicle is transferred on your name u have to get the insurance policy transferred on your name.
