Stamp paper legal

Hello Experts,

There is a Will Deed on a Rs. 10 Stamp Paper purchased on 12 Fubruary 1983. It is notorized on 12 May 1983. Is this legally valid document. Because I was thinking both Stamp paper purchase date and notory date should be on same date. Pls answer which is correct?

Many thanks

There is no need of a stamp paper for writing a will. A will can be made even on a plain paper.

No bar if there is difference in the date of purchase of stamp paper if the date execution is on the same day or a later day. for example, the date of purchase is 04-07-2017 and the date of execution is 03-07-2017, it is invalid.  if the date of purchase is 04-07-2017 and the date of execution is 05 or any date after that date.

WILL is valid and legal. In case of WILL no stamp paper or notarisation of the same is required.
