dear expert- a tenents has entered into an agreement with the landloard thro and agreement for 11 months(not registered) where by he pays a lumpsum amount. The tenents does not requier to pay monthly rent in lieu of the interest to the deposit/lease.The same has been clearly mentioned in the agreement. The agreement says the the tenent would vacate the house after the return of the deposit to him. After 7 months, he comes to know that the signatory is not the actual owner of the house while his father is the real owner. The tenent had previous been a tentant of the same premise for over 2 years by paying monthy rent to the son. Now the father who is now aware of this agreement is in the process of selling the property. Would like to know what legal support can the tenent avail of.
