Hi, Am trying to understand whether there is a cap on the tenure of the managing committee in a cooperative housing society. The model bye laws indicate that the tenure is 5 years but there is no clarity on whether this is the minimum tenure ? Can a society fix a max tenure of 3 years to the Managing committee by passing a resoluting in a Special General Body Meeting ?
