Theft in train

Dear Expert members,

we are traveling from sari kansrai(SQN) U.P. station to lokmanya tilak terminus mumbai in train no.15018

dadar gorakhpur express (kashi express) with my wife and Children,in night when we are sleeping at that time theft was happend near pipariya station (M.P) he is stolen my wife ladies purse.
in that purse she puts ornaments and cash. i am logged fir and that fir copy forwarded to gadarwara police station. by railway GRP .from gadarwara police station i have received till date 1 call only from mobile no.9993098486 for enquiry in march 2014.

My self called to gadarwara police station more than 10 time on above mobile no. the officer is saying enquiry is going on.

now more than 8 month passed.

please suggest me what i do .

can i go in consumer court if yes how & where to file complain.

sorry about the incident.

in this case you cannot go to the consumer forum. it does not have any powers to deal with such cases. what you can do is to approach the police station directly and keep updates.
