transfer of bar registration.

In case a lawyer practising in one state changes his registration of bar council to another state, will the years he has been practising in another state will count in his experience?
will it affect the seniority afterwards?

First of all there is no need to change bar council because one can practice in any court of the country see sec 30 of advocates act.

Seniority will remain intact even if you change bar council or not see sec 18 of advocates act.

But in utter Pradesh and several other higher judiciary examinations they ask for continuous and uninterrupted practice of 7 years under same bar council.
