If both of you own the house, then in that case it will be enough if your wife makes REGISTERED RELINQUISHMENT DEED, relinquishing her share, title, interest and rights in the said house property in your favour. The stamp paper cost will be very very minimal. You can check up the stamp requirement in the sub-registrar's office. Get the relinquishment deed drafted by a local lawyer.
