Trust property

Before selling the trust property, the trustees must obtain the permission of the civil court having jurisdiction over the trust property. The trustees must apply to the court for permission to sell the property and provide reasons for the sale. The court will examine the reasons and may grant or refuse permission based on its assessment of whether the sale is in the best interests of the trust and its beneficiaries.
