Have a query on interim maintenance.
We have to submit reply to petition on the coming date in court. They have asked for interim maintenance in the petition. My questions are:
1. Will we have to argue on interim maintenance on the coming date? How soon interim maintenance awarded? And generally what does boys side say as defence on interim maintenance?
2. What will be the amount of interim maintenance awarded if boys salary if 35000 per month. Girl is working and submitted salary of 10000 per month. Then how much interim maintenance is applicable. They have asked for nearly a crore in terms of alimony. Does Judge go by their demands if they ask anything. The boy has no property of his own but his father has two small flats. Will that be considered by judge?
3. Their lawyer has threatened on phone that he will destroy us if we dont give them money. What is such a lawyer capable of?
Boys father is a heart paitent and hence request you for answers so that we can prepare ourselves. We do not have much money in bank and will we have to sell property?
