Urgent reply required

Hi

I am power of attorney holder for my wife (Defendant No 1 )for a suit filed on partition suit.

I have already questioned the Plaintiff in Cross examination .

I have then appeared before the Court as the Prime Witness for the Defendant.

Now it Second Defendant has submitted his Affidavit of Evidence.

Can I now as the Power of Attorney holder be restricted by any law to cross examine the Defendant No 2

If yes please provide case law and section under which it stops me from questioning the Defendant No 2

An urgent response would be appreciated

regards
