Go through the SEC 54 Of Indian Stamp Act-

Expiry date of stamp paper- Use of stamp paper for execution of agreement to sell- no impediment for stamp paper purchased more than 6 months prior to proposed date of execution being used for document- Stipulation of period of 6 months prescribed in Sec 54, Stamp Act is only for purpose of seeking refund of value of unused stamp paper and not for use of stamp paper- SC-CLJ-2008-211, SC- U.P. Revenue Judgment- 2008(2)-1424(A).
