Value of photocopy before tribunal?

Procedings in MACT is a combination of Inquisitorial and Adversial because it is a social legislattion. Due to this supreme court and high court in various decision has ruled that the strict rule of evidence does not apply in MACT inquiry. Question is relaxation of strict rule of evidence empower the Tribunal to act on photocopy only to Order for Interim award under 140?

Documents in question are all public documents without certification from the concern authority and photocopy was filed.

Tribunals are not strictly courts. Hence, evidence act though applicable, not fully followed in Tribunals

Thanks, do you mean to say that Tribunal can act on photocopy only as rule of evidence are relaxed? What about police report, driving license and medical report which are only photocopy?
