WE EMPLOY 6 PERSONS IN OUR SHOP WITH THE BASIC SALARY ABOVE THE MINIMUM BASIC SALARY REQUIREMENTS FOR EX:ASST ACCOUNTANT IS BEING PAID RS 4600+CONVEYENCE RS 500.00
IS IT O.K?AS RECENTLY WE HAVE SEEN IN MIN.WAGES WEBSITE AS BASIC 4102+VDA 1523
HOW DOES IT EFFECT US?IS VDA APPLICABLE TO US?

will you pl let me know the state (AP/MP etc.,)
If any one paying more than minimum wage, they have the option to split the wages into different components of their choice. It is upto them to keep VDA as one of the components. Even if they want to keep VDA as one fo the components, they can choose different base year/choose their own rate per point of CLI etc.,
