Wage anomalies

Our batch comprising of 10 personnel working in a PSU; would like to draw your kind attention towards the irregularities and anomalies in the pay structure which had arisen as a result of the pay revision after 2007. The basic pay of junior’s batch who have joined the service a year later is higher, than that of the seniors (applicants in this case) in the same discipline. In this connection several representations were made to the management for rectification/resolving of the anomalies, but till date the anomaly remains as it is.

If due to pay revision any anomaly aroused is noticed of that the senior employee having less basic pay than that of the juniors, then steps are to be initiated to ensure that the seniors in the same grade and discipline are fixed with higher or equivalent basic pay of juniors.

But after several requests to the management for rectification of the anomalies in the pay, the anomaly still persists and the management is not resolving the same. As such the basic pay of seniors (Applicants in this case) are less than that of juniors at several moments. If the same is not resolved than in due course of time the accumulated difference will increase and will make a considerable loss to our batch members in the prolonged course of service.

After several request to the Management, nothing in concrete is seen from the Management side for rectification of the dispute of a junior having higher basic to that of their seniors in same grade and discipline who have joined a year later in the service with the same channel of promotions & service rule

Pls suggest that what we should do in this case.
