My Friends Family by profession is of "Lohar" (KAMMARI in TELUGU). He has got 1/4th Acre of Ancestoral Property in RR Distict Hyderabad. Earlier out their land some Land was acquired by Govt. of AP for that they have Paid the Price as per Govt. Price at that time.The left over land is about 1/4 Acre.On verifying the Revenue Records it was categorised as "CHOUTHA INAM". Kindly enlighten us the meaning of "CHOUTHA INAM".
Is he having absolute right over the Land.Shall he sell this Land based on his Pass Book.If not Kindly enlighten us the Legal Postition, since he is an Old man ans struggling for Survival.
