What is the value of agreement made on 10 rs paper?

hello experts..

my father gave a part of land to a builder in 1990 in mumbai.a agreement was made on 10 rs paper mentioning "agreement".the papers are not notarized,no stampduty or registration done.in short i tell u the summry ..it is written that 275 carpet area shop will be given to my father in the building at the same area which area we had given to him to develope. when the building will be ready.since 15 years the project is stopped.the place we had given to him is still in his hand.

what is the value of the agreement at present?

The agreement is now probably expired... Its legal for 3 years. it must be completed within that..

 

Its my opinion and you can take more help...

whether any limitation mentioned in the agreement? for construction etc.

you have to file civil suit in civil court to get back possession or to comply the conditions of the agreement.

If the opposite party denies the agreement, then you have to prove it by adducing evidence, there is no difficulty even if it is on 10 Rs. Bond paper.

thank u rahul and mahesh.. builder has not mentioned any date of possesion in agreement..can i pay stampduty of the same now?
