What to do if arrest warrant is issued for not attending hea

What to do if an arrest warrant is issued for not attending a criminal court hearing ? For eg in a 498a case, what do the accused do if they don't make it to court for a hearing and array warrant is issued against them? How do they protect themselves?

Appearing before the Court and filing a Criminal Miscellaneous Petition ( Crl. M. P. ) for recall is, so far I know, the only remedy before you.
