Will

My father had a property at Coimbatore. He died without made any will. I had three sisters and one brother. We all agreed to change name in brother name. . in turn he had made a settlement deed 50% of the property to my mother. My mother had made a will in my name. The will is registered the witness who signed the will is not alive both the are dead. The all three sisters are given jewels and money for their marriage by me. Now I need your advice now my sisters can raise any objection My mother is alive , can my mother not made any will after the registerd will. will I get the property since I am only taking care of old aged mother . Or I can ask my mother to transfer this property in my name thro settlement deed I need expert advise

Generically speaking; If sisters have their rights per personnel law that applies in your case e.g; Hindu Succession Laws, then they can claim.

 

The expenses on marriage etc does not take away their rights.

The property/estate left by your father is self acquired or ancestral?

 What is date/month/year of death of Father?

You have posted that:

We all agreed to change name in brother name

How did everyone agree, say by registered relinquishment deed?
