My name is Roopa and I am absed out of Hderabad
I am writing this mail to you to seek little help regarding the various Labor Laws applicable for a small company. Please read below.
As of now, I am working as a “HR Consultant” in NICEFIT Careers Pvt. Ltd at Hyderabad. This company is into: Recruitment services, IT development and also Assessment driven Skill Enhancement training. It has a manpower of over 25 and is keen to extend its operations across the country. We are governed by the S&E (Shop & Establishment Act). We are a 5 year old company.
Please note that except 2- all other employees are outside ESI purview as their Gross salary is more than Rs 15000. Also, , we have taken a Bajaj ALlianz policy for GPA (Group personal Accident policy) which covers only death and not disablement.
My queries are:-

I want to know if the Workmen's Compensation Act is applicable for us?

Do we need to cover even disablement too - in our GPA policy

Those two employees whose gross is less than Rs 15000 need to be covered. Right?
