Writ petition

Dear experts, Can a divorcee (wife) file a case before State Women Commssion against ex husband . because I have received a notice to appear before it. Sincerely thinking on filing a writ before the HC for stay . As need to stop these harassment. Kindly inform if it is alright or what should I do? Regards.
