Can land be sold to anyperson without nominee signature

Dear Members,

 

Our family is having "X" land which belongs to my grandfather which is registered on my Daddy Uncle name and my dad is nominee of that property as we are joint family and now my dady uncle wants to sell the property he is not having any hier without consulting my dad can he do so and can my dad prevent the sale

 

Please can any one put a light on the above subject

Nominee has no jurisdition, to object or claim or whatsoever, till the owner expires.
