Greetings,
The name of my father is Santosh Deshpande and mother's name is Susheela Patil. My mother(govt servant) did not change her surname even after marriage until retirement. My father passed away in 2008.Now , the problem is the legal documentation (passport mainly) wherein they ask me why I my mother has a different surname. Also, due to ineffecient documentation processes in colleges, my certificates are bearing my mother's name to be SUSHILA instead of Susheela.Due to this, I am unable to apply for a passport nor for any other national documentation (voter id, adhaar). Kidly help me through this. How do i rectify this major issue.
