Discrepancy of the measurement in the sale deed

Respected Sir,

I need your valuable advice.

A site measuring 60X40feet-totalling 2400 square feet, was bought in 1996 and it had four owners and each shared 600 sqaure feet and all the four executed independant (4) sale deeds.  The original site of 2400 sft was stated as Schedule `A` Property and the divisions of 600 each was mentioned as Schedule`b` property.

While printing the sale deed an error crept in and instead of 600 square feet, it is mentioned as 400 square feet.

The discrepancy/defect was noticed now, after 16 years.  The sellers are not treacable. The title has to be rectified.

Please suggest a solution?

you can execute a correction deed with the consent of the present owners who were all party to the original parent  document. Stamp duty charges will be attracted .
