I was born in a village in Jharkhand in 1992 and it was not registered at that time.
I need birth certificate now for passport as no school certificate are acceptable.
I currently live in jabalpur(MP).
I do have other documents like voter card, PAN card, Aadhar card.
Please help me to get a valid birth certificate.

Check your state laws in this regard.
In some states birth can be registered in municipality with an affidavit & permission of SDM, with required late fee.

At first go to the municipal office and ask for registration procedure, they will guide you.

yes you should go to gram vikas adhikari/ gram sevak. He should have JANM AUR MRITYU KA PANJIKARAN NIYAMAWALI.
