Gift of immovable property to a educational & charitable trust

Dear Learned Counsels,

Can a registered Educational & Charitable Trust needs to obtain permission from Court to accept agricultural land as gift from outsiders ?   Property is in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Thanks in advance

Nagesh

Individuals or organizations can donate property to charitable institutions, including trusts, using a gift deed. This can be a way to support a good cause while also providing potential tax benefits.

In Tamil Nadu, charitable trusts can own up to five standard acres of agricultural land. Educational institutions and hospitals can also own agricultural land, but the amount is limited by their own rules and regulations and the law.
The trusts can take  gifts of agricyltural land as long as it fulfill the obligations objectives and responsibilities of the trust.

As per law, now a Trust can receive an agriculture land as gift, supported by the proper Gift Deed.
