respected ma'am
The main function of international law is to encourage global peace. It calms down the opposing interests of different nations. The values of liberalism, rule of law, democracy, human rights and capitalism are the values underlying international law. The Constitution of India also mentions in its part IV of Directive Principles of State Policy- “The state shall give due respect to the rules of International Law.” similarly international law is a code of conduct in international relations for many other constitutions of the world.international law support political leaders to give resources and increase or limit the powers of domestic or international institutions. Hence, it serves as a way political and economic power is used and limited.
