A MARRIED INDEPENDENT WOMEN AGED 34 SAPERATLY LIVING SINCE MORE THAN 7 YRS FROM HER HUSBAND , NO LEGAL DIVORSE OR DECREE OF DISSOLUTION OF MARRIAGE UNDER HINDU LAW HAS EVER BEEN PASSED BY ANY COURT. STARTS LIVING WITH A LEGALLY DIVORSED MAN . WHAT REMEDY CAN BE ASSURED TO HER APART FROM FILING DIVORSE FROM FIRST HUSABAND . ??

It becomes adultery but not punishable as it is not considered as offence.her husband may file suit for divorce on grounds of adultery or with mutual consent.

BUT ADULTRY TO PROVE IS VERY DIFFICULT IN MANY SETUPS. 497 IS NO MORE IN EXISTANCE IN IPC.
