No ceiling. It is according to your convenience and necessity.

You may have as many accounts as you want. Please do remember that you will be charged if you don't maintain minimum balance required to maintain the account.

If u are an income tax assesee then it will be difficult to show all bank accounts by the Accountant, as it is a complex work for him

There is no limit but you can have only one Saving Bank Account in your name in a bank.
