Physical class amidst pandemic?

Hello

The schools and colleges have been reopened, and some students can't afford to travel back to the college from their hometowns during the pandemic, at the cost of their health. Can the government and schools legally force students to physically attend lectures during covid?

There are a number of debates going on the concerned matter of helding physical classes both in schools and colleges as well.

Recently, during a survey the Vice Chancellor of the KSLU (Karnataka State Law University) said that "If attendance stays low, it would be a great difficulty in conducting online examinations". With this statement he also added that lack of transportation system and the mandatory negative covid reports are playing a major role, due to which students are unable to join the schools and colleges.

The same has been observed in the 106 college's affiliated to KSLU.
The matter is severe and the parents are having a mixed feeling upon how they should proceed. Thus, it resulted in a search for alternative methods with an intention that the final year students training for the purpose of placement does not gets affected.

Legally no College, School or University could force students to join physical classes, buy can provide their views on the opinion because believe it or not covid has affected harshly on students as the time has passed but the knowledge hasn't been expanded, due to which the schools and colleges are laying emphasis on physical attendance in classes.

Hope you get it.

Thanks
