Regarding issuance of ews certificate

I am a married woman.I am preparing of govt exams.I want to get ews certificate.But I dont know whose income or assets are counted for married woman certificate.Although I live alone with my husband and if our income is counted then we fall under ews category. Also I came to know that married woman's father income and property is counted but in my district they are asking only for my husband's detail.So should I get certificate on the basis of doc asked by authorities although they are not taking into accouny my father's detail.If i get selected in govt exam/upsc will there be any prblm???
