Sale agreement validity & rules

Dear Sirs,

Please let me know the validity of a Sale Agreement. Is there a term of 3 years before which either party cannot enter into an agreement with anyone else without having the option of legal recourse?

If either of the party would not like to go ahead with the agreement due to certain reasons, do they need to cancell / void the agreement before they can enter into a fresh agreement with anyone else?

Regards.

yes, if parties are not interested to proceed ahead then they would be required to cancel the sale agreement in writing so that the seller would be free to sell the property to third party.

yes , it is possible, any party can deny for the further agreement and the prior notice for that should be given to the other party by registred post. Read the sale agreement about the term for the sales deed.

You are allowed to make the agreement null and void whenever you wish. For that you would need to send a notice to the other party.
