Transfer of property from father to son

I have made a house on the property of my father’s land. So,  all the papers related to the land and house in my father’s name. I have one elder brother, who does not have any contribution on that property and does not stay with us. So, my father wants to transfer the house in my name to avoid any type of hassles in absence of my father.

Please guide me the ways to transfer the property from my father’s to my name.

He can gift it.

The best way is to get  a gift deed executed by your father in your favour and get it registered. However, it may be challenged. The other way is that your father execute a sale deed in your favour. Propety can also be bequethed by him in your favour by executing a Will but the same comes into force only after demise of the executor. For any clarifiaction, you may contact me through this site..
