Pls. suggest if flat buyer is liable to pay VAT prior to getting possession of flat. In my case Pune builder has sent demand in Aug 2011 for full payment of VAT when the flat is no yet ready for possession even now.
VAT was paid to builder in Apr 2012 but builder is now demanding interest on the same from date of demand letter.
