What happens to domestic violence case ?

My wife filed a domestic violence case in 2017 December. As I had financial concern I am fighting the case and current stage is in cross examination. I have done my first round of cross examination also. The evidence she produced has no document about her physical mental or financial issues she had told in evidence. Meanwhile she filed a divorce in August 2018 and for divorce in march 2019 ex-partre. Now due to covid I having difficulty in giving interim monthly maintenance of Rs 5000/- ordered in Domestic violence case. My question is 1) will existing domestic violence case stand after divorce is got 2) if at all I need to proceed with domestic violence case how to approach court about interim maintenance and do cross evidence 3) is there any citation which I can use to quash domestic violence stating that I am already a divorced husband.

1. Coordinate with a local experienced Lawyer, with your case file /details for proper legal opinion and solutions.  It is grossly risk to deal with such cases in a casual manner.

Agree with experts, your lawyer is the best person to advise you who is well aware about facts and circumstances of the case(s), competent, intelligent and able to guide you properly.
