Women in Purdahs can't be issued voter ID card

in my opinion...this verdict is absolutely true..

before any law...there is security of the citizens first....a deep thought

To prevent bogus voting election card necessary &compulsary.It is for identical purpose.Its a right Judgement.

Impersonation in all fields will be curbed.

 It is a right decision of the Supreme Court. The observation of the Bench is also true,' The photograph is for identification of a voter. If someone comes to vote in a burqa and the photograph was taken with veil covering the face, how would anyone identify the voter?'. As reported in the Times of India, All India Muslim Personal Law Board senior member is also of the view that though purdah is compulsory for women under the Shariat, Islamic law does gives conditional permission under special circumstances. Even a number of Muslim groups hailed the decision citing the fact that when they have no objection to photos for passport for going to Haj, why should they object to the same for this. Anyone objecting to the judgement must understand the importance of identification for voting purposes and must show the alternatives for identification.

The judgment is correct and justified in all respect.

 Even the apex body of islam has happily supported the judgment and declared that there is no violation of sariat in making photograph without burqa.
