Appellate jurisdiction of civil courts in maharashtra

Hello Respected Lawyers,

I want to know the appeal procedure against a decree by civil court in Maharashtra.

Situation :-
Plaintiff wants to file a money suit (Ordinary/Regular Civil Suit) arising out of breach of contractual obligations. Total amount claimed in the lawsuit is valued at Rs. 2.25 Lakhs. As per Section 24 of the Maharashtra Civil Courts Act (Act no. XIV of 1869) all suits having subject matter value upto Rs. 5 Lakhs can be tried/heard by Court of Civil Judge Junior Division (J.D.).

My question is, which court will hear/decide appeals arising out of decree passed by Court of Civil Judge Junior Division (J.D.). ?
Will it be Court of Additional District Judge (Civil) or the appeals will lie directly to High Court ?
Under which section of Civil Procedure Code will the appeal be filed ?

Best Regards,
Env Coord.

If it exceeds ten lakhs directly to high court but in Ur case it is2.25 lakhs so it may be appeal to senior civil judge or district court . Clarify by court shirstedarwhere u file suit.
